Trumpet<\/a><\/span>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.20.4″ _module_preset=”default” hover_enabled=”0″ global_colors_info=”{}” sticky_enabled=”0″]<\/p>\nBorn in Novi Sad in Yugoslavia, Laura Vukobratovi\u0107 studied the trumpet under Prof. Kovacs Kalman at the University of Music in her hometown. From 1995 to 2001 she enrolled in the master class taught by Professor Reinhold Friedrich at the Karlsruhe University of Music. Laura Vukobratovi\u0107 was only 18 when she became principal trumpeter at the Serbian National Theatre in Novi Sad. In 1994, she became a lecturer at the local University of Music.<\/p>\n
Before being awarded the German DAAD prize in 1999, she twice won the \u201cNational competition of young talents\u201d in her home country. At the time, she was enrolled in master classes taught by Maurice Andr\u00e9 and Guy Touvron.<\/p>\n
Laura Vukobratovi\u0107 is a much sought-after soloist. She has performed in Europe and South America over the last years. As a soloist, she performs with internationally renowned orchestras such as the Deutsches Kammerorchester Berlin, the K\u00f6lner Kammerorchester, the orchestra of the Ludwigsburg Festival, the Philharmonie Baden-Baden, the Vienna Chamber Orchestra, the RSO Bucharest, theW\u00fcrttemberg Chamber Orchestra Heilbronn, the SWR Rundfunkorchester Kaiserslautern, the M\u00fcnchner Bachsolisten and the Bach Collegium M\u00fcnchen. During the 2002-2003 season, she was principal trumpeter at the NDR Sinfonieorchester Hamburg. Since 2003, she has been principal trumpeter at the National Theatre Orchestra Mannheim.<\/p>\n
In addition, she is a guest performer for the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Bavarian State Opera in Munich, the Symphony Orchestra of SWR Baden-Baden\/Freiburg, the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, RSO Frankfurt and the Royal Flemish Philharmonic.<\/p>\n
In 2005, she began lecturing at the Karlsruhe University of Music. Laura Vukobratovi\u0107 is very active as a concert soloist and also focusses on chamber music. In that line of work, she cooperates with Linos-Ensemble, Luzern Brass, \u201cEnsemble Adventure\u201d and with hr-brass and bach, blech & blues. Laura Vukobratovi\u0107\u2019s musical repertoire ranges from the 17thand 18thcentury to modern times. She played Johann Sebastian Bach\u2019s Brandenburg Concerto No. 2 on the piccolo trumpet and has demonstrated that she is as successful with the piccolo trumpet as she is with the natural trumpet \u2013 proved by numerous concerts and CD recordings.<\/p>\n
