Master class professors
Raimund Zell, born in 1977, grew up in the South German brass music scene, studied with Michael Höltzel in Detmold and Christian Dallmann in Berlin, was a member of the German National Youth Orchestra and the European Union Youth Orchestra.
After engagements with the Stuttgart Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Komische Oper Berlin and the Staatskapelle Dresden, he played horn in the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra for 10 years.
He has won several international competition prizes as a soloist
and chamber musician and is active internationally as an orchestral musician, teacher, juror, chamber musician and soloist.
He taught for six years as a horn teacher at the Berlin University of the
Künste Berlin in the class of Christian Dallmann, held a professorship for horn and chamber music at the Bern University of the Arts in 2011/2012, was professor of horn at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz from 2012-2015 and has been professor of horn at the Anton Bruckner University in Linz since 2012.
He is also a mental coach and lives in Vienna.
